This is {PCOS}

Updated: Aug 9, 2021

Imagine you are a forager centuries ago, unsure of when or where you will find the next meal for yourself and your family. You need to have the ability to store fat easily and burn it as fuel when berries are no where in sight.

And when times are tough, your body is smart enough to not release an egg that month. Ovulation is not a vital function for your own survival.

This is PCOS.

Our bodies were meant to be in synch with the earth, moon, sun, and stars. Life was a series of cycles. The circadian cycle of the sun, the tidal cycle of the moon, the shifting map of the stars, and the seasons of the earth all continue to work together in harmony, yet somewhere along the line, humans became disconnected.

Taking all of this information into consideration, does it really come as a surprise to you that your menstrual cycle has become irregular?

Our cells are very intelligent and they want to work together in order to make their machine (our body) function as it was designed to do! However, sometimes we build habits that throw a wrench in this well-oiled machine. Anything from emotional stress or a poor night's rest, to last night's Cheeto binge is enough for a cellular miscommunication.

Working with me means coming back in to communication with your body, your cells, and the cycle of the egg that has the power to create life.

PCOS is complicated, but it does not have to be.
